Common questions
My toilet keeps running, can you fix it?
Usually yes, and quickly. A running toilet is normally a worn valve or float, an inexpensive fix that also stops you wasting water.
My toilet is blocked, what should I do?
Try not to keep flushing it. Call us and we will clear it, and tell you honestly if anything needs replacing.
Hot water not as hot as it should be?
That is often the boiler or the hot water cylinder rather than the plumbing. We will diagnose where the problem actually is and tell you the fix.
Water is coming through my ceiling, what do I do?
Turn off your stopcock to stop the supply, move anything valuable clear, and call us. We will give you a realistic time for getting to you.
My tap keeps dripping, is it worth fixing?
Usually yes. A dripping tap is normally a worn washer or cartridge, a small job that stops the noise and the wasted water. Tell us the type of tap and we will sort it.
